Nice weather for them....

Wet again. Hitched up the new slurry pump and started to stir one of the tanks that are still to empty. Managed to spread 5 loads before it got too thick,so will need to add more water and start mixing again! Some folk say I'm good at stirring the sh..!
The calf I twinned on yesterday is keen to suck,but new mum has other ideas. She is quite handy with her feet,so had to put her in the crush to let it suck (again) Put her back in the pen ,which she promptly managed to jump out of,getting stuck half way over a 6ft gate and bending the top spar. Told her she was a naughty cow and put her back in again. Still there tonight when I looked.
The only ones that are enjoying the weather are the quackers. The ducklings are growing like wee mushrooms and starting to get feathers now. They are at the gangly teenager stage.
Forgot today was Tuesday (again) until I read T Bay's blip so no Tractor Tuesday  either. Maybe make a random tractor blip later in the week just to keep everyone guessing !
