Alf

Another early morning run today. Came home n had a soak in the bath n tried to finish my book.
R came home n we headed off to Alf's funeral. After a long battle with prostate cancer, it finally claimed him last week at 81. He had a lovely send off with lots of family there and some well selected songs.
I'm not a fan of funerals. They are so heartfelt and full of emotions. I think the older you get you start to think about your own and possibly what you would or wouldn't want for others. How morbid. The heavens opened as we came out and it was grey and windy.
Afterwards I went I to town to get a frame for the painting we bought at the show. Lots of mini jobs done and then a relaxing evening just being lazy.
