The Blacksmith

We went to Mary Arden's Farm this morning to show Kio the animals. We had a good time at this Tudor farm seeing the rare breeds and birds of prey, and letting Kio play the tudor games and race in and out of the maize maze.

There is also a working blacksmiths, basket maker and falconry display. The biggest surprise was the tudor lunch where a reenactment of a meal takes place using real food, pottage, bread etc. I guess the staff have to lunch!

After late lunch at home we all went to Stratford where Ann and I camped out at Nero whilst Andrew, Noriko and Kio explored Henley Street.
