Defrosting

The fridge part of our kitchen fridge freezer packed up the other day after nearly 30 years. The freezer part kept working despite having ice layers that would not disgrace the Arctic summer ice-cap.

Replacement arrives in the morning any time after 7am (!) and before 2pm.
So this evening has been the delight of thawing out the ice floes.
