Little Rafters

Wednesday was a fresh new day with so many camping possibilities.  This day we spent nearly the entire day at the river.  The kids were in and out of the water.  In and out of canoes, rafts, and other flotation devices.  They played in different combinations of kids.  This trip has been a little different with the 3 older girls trying to separate from the 3 littler girls a lot.  As you can imagine...the littles didn't love it.  But....there were moments when they just all found different play partners, and all was right with the world. 

I had a great day of relaxation and reading.  I found my smiles again.  Hard not to smile with such joy around you. 

Sugar had such a great day.  She even got a canoe lesson from her dad.  She and her cousin "K', got pushed up river in the late afternoon wind, and he had to go help them get back.  It was a learning lesson.
