Pot Growing

Marijuana became legal in Oregon a few weeks ago. Since then the steps are being taken to actually sell it. Already existing and starting to grow more rapidly are the medical marijuana clinics, around since 1998. Available with a prescription.
In short, the law was written to accommodate the retail part, after a legal development stage. Looks like within a few months.
In the mean time, people are allowed to own it, grow it and smoke it.
So...pot is growing here, as well as in Washington, Colorado, Alaska and Washington D.C.
I posted an example of how big pot can get, with Layne and the Smart in there to give some scale. This was in the industrial district. We did a full-on two hour tour and covered a little bit of ground this midday, looking for fun on our shared day off.
