Fun on the beach

We got a driver today to take us to a waterfall it was called Les Waterfall,Bali is well known for waterfalls such as Git Git etc. but I had never heard of this one. He dropped us off and we had a 20 minute walk to the top not too bad as again it was shaded,we saw a farmer clearing a small area to plant some crops they have used bamboo canes to divert the water to use on the land,there were bamboo pipes running in quite a few directions.Once at the top the waterfall was quite impressive and a swim at the bottom very welcome,there were quite a few people there but mostly Balinese enjoying a picnic,and a cool dip.
Today's photo is from the evening walk when it cools down a little again all Balinese families on the beach.This Merry group were having a ball collecting water in the leaves they had found,we spoke to there parents one had reasonable English and they said they come down to cool off and watch the sunset the same as we do.His wife was pregnant due any day,she was happily sitting on 2 coconuts while watching her children.they collect them from the beach.Walking back to the home stay we spoke to a gentleman and found out he was from Liverpool and owned the house we had just been admiring,he invited us in to meet his Wife and have a drink,2 hours later we returned to our accomodation to find they had been looking for us.Such fantastic people in this area.
