Summer Vacation: Day One

And a fantastic, relaxing day at that.

Roller skating
A long walk through the orchard
Crawling through the grass
Collecting treasures
Hard work (Mr C here)
A bit of afternoon quiet time
Me loving the fact that I spent equal time with all the kids today

Being the first day of summer vacation, I wanted to just be. Not going anywhere unnecessary, not schedule anything, not plan anything. And we did just that.

I almost forgot the helicopter that literally few right above our house to check out the neighboring grass seed field. What fun for the kids when the pilot waved to them! Oh, and the shoes here: Mr C commented that one of his brown shoes felt tight, so he chose to wear one from another pair. Makes sense, right? Oh, the simple minds of children :)
