Clywdd
There must be some kind of Welsh connection to the naming of this beautiful little valley beyond Brown's Gap near Lithgow. It's called the "Vale of Clwydd" which is a direct steal of a name from a place in northern Wales. Mind you this IS New South WALES that we are talking about ... so why not?
Temperature got up to 11.1 degrees today and once again there was no real wind to speak of. When you get a beautiful day in winter around here it really IS a beautiful day usually. I learned this morning however that it's official. This July has been the coldest one in this part of Australia in 17 years. I should have thought so!
