RIP ........

.... had mentioned yesterday it was a rough day, well sadly Nanna passed away peacefully late last night.

This shot was on Mothers Day this year (10th May).

She will be in a better place after a long battle with bowel cancer after two ops, the last just 12 months ago. Unfortunately this dreaded cancer reared up again recently and she may now rest in peace.

A good life of 87 years ... 19/01/1928 to 28/07/2015.

Our thanks to you all for support and wishes recently, and you may recall my mentioning how she enjoyed looking at some of your Blips each day, she thought it just super how technology could bring us all so close. You may recall one of my early "Back When" series here showing Nanna as a bub.

Our thanks publicly to the wonderful Palliative care team from the Penrith Cancer Clinic who supported and guided us through the final couple of weeks, they are just so professionally gifted, and such caring and loving people, doing what could only be said the toughest and unforgiving job in the world!!
