pink fingered dawn
promising some nice things for today. our handy man will come and start with the long list of embellishments of our house. Ha, new windows, new carpets, lots or little repairs indoors and outdoors - I am so looking forward to that.
Thank you all for your wonderful feedback for the dove picture. It is so appreciated together with the comforting remarks for me. Unfortunately the mother abandoned the last born chick, left with her first born and is nowhere to be seen. The last little one is sitting alone on the nest, still with shiny eyes, since 2 days and nights alone and is not taking the food and moisture that I deposited next to his nest.
It is just a dove, but it is things like this that let me not believe in an merciful Father God above us anymore. Why one chick yes and the other no? What did it do wrong? Is wrongdoing a reason at all for not having the chance for a 'happy' life? Why one soldier is spared and thanks God for this, and the one next to him dies? Did he always do something wrong to 'deserve' the different fate? Who creates fate in the first place?
Maybe we ourselves by our previous lives, like Hindus believe?
I have a hard time believing that either.
I think, nature is just very cruel, hard, and our brains try without end to soften the blows by creating some systems that help us understand...
