Posing

I read an article on Facebook about not liking photos of ourselves and not being in any pictures. It went on to say that our loved ones love us for being in their lives not because we are amazingly good looking. The double chins, rings of cuddly stuff or big noses don't matter. We are loved no matter what...and when we are gone there will be no pictures to look back on or to comfort them because we were too caught up in not looking good enough for photographs.

So, starting today, as much as I'm not happy with the pictures that are taken of me because I'm not the same shape or size that I was when I was 16, I resolve to try to be in more pictures so that one day my ancestors will be able to see who I was. Warts and all!
