L.A.R.E., section E
Happily for me, the storm (which kept me up till 3:00 am) spared the power in the hotel, and the exam took place. After 5 hours of drawing, calculating and thinking hard I was physically and mentally exhausted. I think I did well!!! I won't know till August whether I passed, though.
I ate something at Aladdin's, a local middle Eastern joint, and drove home listening to a stack of great CDs to keep awake. I stopped at one of the local wine stores (NOT the racist one!), to pick up some whiteness of the Line 39 variety. I've never been in this place before, and i was floored. Entire upstairs of a tiny store at the gas station is filled with bottles. The passage between the bottle racks (see above) is only about 2 feet wide (a little over half a meter).
Check out the door at the end! Where do you think it leads???
Jack would approve of this shot :-)
