Ephemeral Mountains

For a while now, I have been experimenting with developing my raw photos in Lightroom. For about my first year, I used the jpeg files directly from the camera (with a few notable exceptions). I rather liked the idea of an pristine image. But I'm learning that sometimes by changing the image, one can show people things more as one saw them oneself , even though they're not as literally realistic. And sometimes a special effect can add interest.
