Our friend Maria and the mystery shawl

We visited our friend Maria and her family this afternoon - we had a lovely time and were treated with a lovely homebaked cheesecake with tea, followed by a delicious dinner. A lot of chatting and knitting got done, of course.

The shawl that M knitted a while ago was designed by her - here you can see her wearing it.
