Custard Slice Pilgrimage

We returned to the scene of Him Outdoor's childhood holidays today. We had to go to a particular cake shop and he had to have a custard slice and we had to go back to the beach to eat it! I've taken far nicer pictures today but this captures the madness!
We went to a beautiful beach - Manobier - in the shadow of its castle first thing, before the Saundersfoot homage - including a swim in the sea for him and The Teen ( I was chief towel holder!)
We then visited Tenby and ate pizza in a fantastically authentic Italian pizzeria - Top Joe's - it was perfect! Home via the surf beach where only the youngest surfed. Tide was in and so the proud parents could sit on the rocks to watch and glow in reflected glory - she did well today. Back to cottage before jumping on bikes to put in a swift coastal hilly sprint prior to supper of Welsh bread and cheese. Golly ! This holiday malarkey is tough!
