Chariots of Fire

Day 1 of the Tour of Fife, 5 days of varied races around bits of north Fife.
Today was 4 miles along St Andrews West Sands, mostly on firm sand but about half a mile on soft stuff, and into the wind on the way out.
I certainly won't be winning anything, but I shouldn't be last, either.
There's still a large amount of Open stuff around, all the stands still appear to be standing, plus loads of "tents".
It actually got up to about 17C briefly today and hardly any rain!
