This was my third outing with my camera today to snag a blip.
The morning walk was sadly disappointing after the excitement of the wildcat yesterday.
Option 2 is always the dog park, catching Laney playing in the water or leaping through the fields, but it was very overcast and gray today.
So, when the sun came out again this afternoon, off I went to one of our many local nature centers. And I was not disappointed! I saw a jay perched on their weather station, and a female hummer feeding on salvia, but this little red beauty in a field of yellow won my heart.
