............Dangerous things............

No fishing today........terrible rainy weather........getting too old to be sitting soaked for 5 hours!

Nipped out for a chore........................at the cross roads one road blocked off by a police van..........bit of a detour.

Found out later that a tree had come down.............onto the car of an acquaintance of ours.........seems he was just passing a cyclist when the tree fell in front of him............the main trunk missed both him and the cyclist...........but the canopy branches trapped him inside the car.until a tree surgeon cut them away. It wasn't even a windy day!
If the tree had fallen about three seconds later it probably would have killed them both.

Lucky escape.
