Angel roof.

Today I revisited Upwell church - I have blipped exterior shots of this church before but the inside features a superb angel roof - one of the best in East Anglia, if not the country. This pic is of the roof taken from the nave and looking straight up - using my Fuji Fine Pix X100, so no zoom. The extra pics are a general view taken from the balcony at the back of the church - the Fuji again - and a close up of an angel, possible because the roof comes down to within about 8 ft of the balcony.
Also looking around was a lady from Leicestershire whose grandfather made the replacement cross on the top of the roof in 1949 - then was killed in an accident on the bridge outside in the same year.
