Evening Porch Time

Tonight I spent a little time on the porch with Linden before his bedtime. It's been a hot day, and the porch felt cool as the sun set. Linden likes the activity: watching people pass by on the sidewalk, the cars driving down the street, other neighbors sitting on their porches and kids playing. In the big pot in the background, the purple wave petunias and orange marigolds are glowing bright.
