Bambi Backblip

I couldn’t believe that I would get another opportunity  for a close-up of a deer so soon.  Just as we crossed the footbridge to the Jamestown Settlement, I came across a doe and her beautiful fawn. They were in some thick foliage, but I managed to get this shot before they were frightened off by the hordes of  tourists.

We are spending several days with the twins in Colonial Williamsburg, immersing them in early American History, so I am a bit behind in posting.
