Surplus
Today I made a gooseberry tart tatin which was gorgeous. I usually make rhubarb TT but as I have a surplus of gooseberries I thought this would make a nice summer pudpud. So far we have made jelly, vodka and frozen 2 bags of gooseberries - compared with last year when we struggles to get enough for jelly.
Had a surprise visit from M and her daughter today which was lovely. We had a good catch up and discussed next weeks trip to the Festival of Quilts. Indie loves having visitors - someone new to chew!
