"Abstract Thursday"

If you know of my medical background, you may think this is a photo of someone's veins. Well you're wrong! (Although that's just given me an idea for a future Abstract Thursday blip...!).

Looking around for an abstract pattern for today's blip I spotted this tea light holder on our window ledge. It started life with quite a deep blue colour, but it's faded a bit over the years - so my first photo was rather lacking. However I tried it against a small stained-glass window (with pink & blue sections) on our landing and this seemed to give it more "oomph".
