Beans and Corn...

... keep America running. They're the main crops around here anyway.

Weather was fine today, so the pre-breakfast cycle trip to St. Croix along the Gandy Dancer actually happened, and most exhilarating it was too. Most of the trail is through trees, with occasional breaks opening out into vistas of farms such as this one. Bunny rabbits scampered out of my way all along the path for my in-ride entertainment. The trip ended rather abruptly, however, when I suddenly and unexpectedly found myself in a KFC parking lot! Quick call to Mr. L. and he picked me up - lucky he knew where the KFC was. Better maps will be carried next time :(
