Not an easy shot

You'd think this was an easy shot to get, but it's really not.

Whilst the bikers are going by, you don't see the back of the bike. By the time they've passed, I've put the camera down, and they are accelerating away from you. And a small stuffed animal on a bike accelerating away from you down a hill is actually really difficult to capture, as you have to pick the camera off your lap again, zoom out incredibly quickly, and almost hope you have it framed when you've done that.

Then the af needs a moment to fire, the lens would be at its closest setting when the bike came past, so it takes a fraction of a second to capture focus.

All in all, a shot that looks really easy to get, which isn't.

Nice day, slow, apart from a bike race and they closed the pass again. Oh well.
