Nude Abstract - Morning Light

Abstract Thursday - July - #5

I have been wanting to do something like this for a few weeks. Minimal processing of a natural scene utilizing one of the most common objects in our earth based universe.
With just a little, "I know what it is, but where is it" going on. There is so much beauty around us, and then there is us.

Last night"s movie was Magician, an Orson Welles documentary. Jam packed with deserved accolades for someone who always knew what he wanted, even from a very young age. He had the uncanny ability to create masterpieces and influence most of the independent film producers that followed him. My favorite line, and that was not easy, was his own reference to how he had been able to do so much with so little training. It was "the confidence of ignorance".

So as we view each other's abstracts, congratulate each other and yourself for the confidence of jumping into this challenge, with a new outlook on the world around you. And add the AT5.
Some of you have expressed joy about doing this challenge and I also have, specifically, giving appreciative feedback to each blip. If it were to continue, I would not have the time to be as personal, so lets say that it can continue as long as you want it. With myself as a non-juried host until it drifts away into the bokeh.
Hope to be back in a day or two with a final recap for the last of five for July!
