Derelict.

This is the other face of Cyprus- so many derelict old buildings but also a huge amount of partial new builds and businesses.

In the village we are staying in, there are two derelict businesses ( quite recently for one of them) and quite a few half built properties. I suppose I'm not really surprised- the economic downturn has had a huge impact here- lots of restaurants and bars with few customers and the beaches are almost empty.

On a cheerier note, we visited Pomos again today and had lunch overlooking the sea.

Today's ice creams: cheesecake, snickers, cookies and cream and cherry mania.
