Mullion Cove Hotel - Take 2!

So last night, off we went to the 'Mullion Cove Hotel' to help our friend Nigel celebrate 25 years of holidaying there.

Ann had booked us a room so that she could partake in alcoholic beverage and do you know what happened when we checked in?.......................  I got my very own doggie welcome pack.  It was fab.  I got two doggie chews, some poo bags and lots of info. about things I could do in the area.  And there was even a sign to hang on the bedroom door when Ann went to dinner so that the housekeepers knew I was in the bedroom unattended.

I was ever such a good little collie.  I just lay on my travel bed I didn’t even attempt to lie on Ann’s bed and watched a bit of TV while Ann and Nigel had the most scrummy, yummy dinner.   And then when they had coffee they went into the dog friendly lounge so I was allowed to sit with them.

This morning it was lovely and sunny so I went for an hour’s walk before breakfast.  Unfortunately I had to stay on my lead for most of it, because Ann was terrified that I’d find mud or go wallowing in water.  And although the Mullion Cove Hotel is very dog friendly, Ann had already told me if I got muddy or wet on my morning walk I’d be sitting in the car while she had breakfast.

I didn’t get wet or muddy so I was allowed to join Ann & Nigel in the dog friendly breakfast room.  There was a boxer dog already there and her owner said she didn’t like other female dogs.  But I just lay down in good dog mode.  Even when Ann said the sausages were delicious and I thought she might give me a little taster but she didn’t!!!  I just stayed lying down in good dog mode!

Loads of people made a fuss of me and told me I was a very lovely little collie.  I was on my bestest behaviour for the whole of our stay and Ann was very, very proud of me.

In fact, Ann was so proud of me that she said she’d give me an extra walk on the way home.  We went to the Penrose Estate.  Well, the stress of having to be on my bestest behaviour for a whole evening  and morning was all a bit much for me, so the minute I was let off my lead I found mud and had a good old wallow.  But Ann didn’t mind because she knew where there was water to get me clean.

And then this afternoon we went to work and then walked the long route home through the fields.  And I didn’t even attempt to jump into any troughs or old baths.  Having a little chillax on our very sunny sun terrace now.

We've had a lovely overnight stay at the Mullion Cove Hotel and would like to thank all the staff who made our stay so special.

Thank you everyone.  It was fab. xxxxx
