THE COMMA BUTTERFLY ENJOYING THE SUN
We drove to Höxter today. First we visited there the Botanical Garden, where we took photos Piet Hein and I. The weather changed suddenly but happily for us, it changed soon enough again.
I loved to see the Comma at the flower, she however flew away before I came near. At that moment it almost started to rain and we walked further. Later, when the sun came out, we came back at the same spot and after some minutes the butterfly came back. I know they love the same routine.
From there we went to the hospital, where we will go tomorrow too for a examination of Piet Hein.
And after that to the Obi, where we looked for a parasol for the balcony.
Not the the weather lately had asked for that, but we still hope for a warmer August.
Mr X was kindly identified by mollyblobs as Extophasia crassipennis, an insect that is not in my guidebook. And also by Marlieske who thought it to be a Phasia hemiptera, that appears in my book. I looked into it on Google and Wikipedia and what can I say? The Phasia I had noticed yesterday as a possibility. But who am I?
My haiku:
Commas come and go
The flower however waits
Patiently, longing
And the proverb:
Patience is a flower that grows not in every one's garden.
