At last a decent day
It seems along time coming but today we had more than a few hours of sunshine. Mike's back from his travels so after dinner we drove up the Eathie Road as the light looked good and so did the clouds. We stopped at the top of the cycle track and admired the view. We saw what I think was an Oak Eggar Moth Caterpillar crawling across the path.
The clouds were slowly moving across the blue sky. The only sound were the birds and the bees and the hundreds of flies that were buzzing round our heads. Mike retreated to the car while I braved the flies to take a few photos. Think we may need our midge nets tomorrow !
You can see Fort George on the Left and Chanonry Point on the right. If you look closely you can also see the beach at Rosemarkie and the caravan park.
Just a reminder that there's a Blipmeet next Saturday 8th August at Rosemarkie , meeting at the Beach Café at around 1.30pm. Please let me know if you can make it :)
