Pink Lake on Coral Coast

Port Gregory is a small fishing town just south of Kalbarri.

The "Pink Hue"of the "pink Lake" is created by bacteria (Dunaliela salina) which becomes trapped in the salt granules.

It is extensive and part of the Hutt Lagoon.

Australians may remember Prince Leonardt of Hutt River the eccentrics self ordained Prince who came to notice as he took on the Australian Government.
