Old and new

The jeweller's frontage i have posted before , an old unused shop that has been boarded up with sheet metal for years, and has a character all of it's own.

The head shop is a brand new addition to the area , and it's shiny new shutters were painted yesterday . Is this a work in progress?

In the dim and distant past i may have rejoiced at the installation of the head shop 100 yrds from home , especially as it is next to a fast food cafe .

However , the sedentary older me prefers the uniqueness of the unloved jewellers.

It remains to be seen whether the artwork on the head shop is the finished article .
More headshop blips tomorrow ... maybe.
