Purple clematis

They say the camera never lies, however as most of us know that isn't quite true. This clematis in my garden looks a really dark purple and yet this photo it seems a lot lighter. I think I must like my clematis as I've got a least 5 different ones in my garden. They do look great but it's such a shame that very few have any fragrance
