Cheeky China Photoshoot
The 'Cheeky' refers to the fact that the china in question is all second-hand, as it was purchased for B&S's wedding reception, mainly from charity shops.
That was four years ago, so S has decided to hire it out for similar special occasions. It consists of pretty matching cup, saucer and plate, some with matching milk jug and sugar bowl, and cake plate - details have still to be decided according to numbers of each item; pretty china teapots, for example, are still hard to find.
This morning, by kind consent of the Secret Herb Garden owners, we set up a table to be photographed for the website, showing how these would appear with dinner crockery and cutlery, and accessorised with lanterns, bunting and flowers to give a festive flavour.
It all looked so nice that it was a shame to pack it all away in its bubble wrap and drink from the Secret Garden's shabby chic enamel mugs - though they do exceptionally good food.
