Aberdour Castle

Today we visited Aberdour castle and gardens in Fife. We were actually on a visit to the spot where Alexander III died when we spotted the sign to the castle and gardens as we drove through Aberdour. Therefore on the way back from our visit to the monument to Alexander III we went in to see the castle and gardens and I'm delighted we did. They were really worth a visit. A fascinating castle, great gardens and an amazing dovecot.
