Bakewell Tarts

My friend Berenice and I had a go at making Blueberry Bakewell Tarts from a recipe which I got from the Radio Times months ago. We had to make the jam, pastry and frangipane, so it was quite  a fiddly process. After they were cooled and decorated we tried them out with a well earned cup of tea.  The verdict? - not really worth the effort.  Disappointing, but you need to try out new things.
