Je Suis Dans Le Pastis

I read that the French saying "je suis dans le pastis" means you are 'in trouble' but this is happily not the case here.

Myself and MrsB are spending our last night on holiday proper in a hotel in Roscoff before the ferry back to Plymouth tomorrow. After a lovely meal out , we are settling down in our room overlooking the old town and I am writing my blip looking out of of the bedroom window and sipping some smuggled-in Ricard. My trainers have been banished by Mrs B to the outside window ledge you will see.

I have done well to avoid my old student passion for Gauloise Disque Bleu for two weeks away in France, but was sucked into a late pastis craving right at the end.
