Miners Cottages
It's been all go at work and at home recently, so as the weather dawned bright and sunny I decided a walk was needed. I met with a girlfriend and we set out from the Black Gate on the Cahergal loop walk. Some of the route was familiar but a few paths were quite new to me. My blip is of some ruins of the cottages occupied by the copper miners. I wonder how long it will be before the walls crumble completely and disappear into their surroundings. That's Bantry Bay and Beara beyond.
