Copper Fly

I was wondering around my garden looking for a blip when I saw lots of these flies sunning themselves on the trees. I don't recall ever seeing flies with these orangey copper wings, I am not sure if it was permanent or something from just having hatched.

Anyway, I was impressed with the colours, disgusted by the detail but since I spent so long watching them, it was the chosen one today.
