Blue streak

Overcast and rainy all day. I ran errands all morning, had sushi with Colby for lunch, then I decided it was a good day to start painting the bathroom.
Late in the afternoon I noticed a fleeting sliver of blue sky through a hole in the clouds, the blue sky that is always on the other side of the cloud cover. I sometimes forget this.
