Nope, not for mother's day.

Mum knows I love her. I don't celebrate Mothers Day though - I don't need or want Asda to tell me I should buy her flowers from drought hit Kenya and some chocolates she won't eat. Surely it means more to get your mum flowers next month, out of the blue, when she least expects it. I remember when a card chain suggested bringing in a Brother and Sisters Day - anything to fill the post Christmas sales gap. Easter next...

Cynical, moi? Yes, unfortunately, but she understands.

Aaaaanyway, instead these are lilies bought by a good friend who came for dinner on Friday. They're just flowering now and are magnificent.
