Tales Of The Unexpected

Didn't expect to see Woody on the morning dog walk. Not the best shot but he was at the other side of the river.

Lunch this afternoon with my chum. She came hobbling out of her car and I thought she had strained her back lifting her grandchildren however she has unexpectedly developed arthritis in both hips. I last saw her in March and there was no hint that this was just around the corner. It is looking likely that she will need an operation in the future.

Daughter going to her friend's 'leaving do' tonight. Her friend is off to Honduras for a year to work with Project Trust. Her friend is not expecting a party tonight so I think it will all be a tad emotional.
