Argiope bruenichii

A busy day and reasonable weather.  Went to see a friend for coffee and then walked down to the brickfields where I saw this spider, sometimes known as the wasp spider for obvious reason!  Never seen one before but this was the best shot I could get as it was in an awkward place.  Also took some other photos I was pleased with, 1on extras. Later went out for a walk and drink with another friend.  Still trying to catch up!
