Back in the Mountains

I've left my July walk up the Lairig Ghru until a bit late in the month - but better late than never. It's been close to seven weeks since the June walk, and the biggest difference is that the snow really has gone. There are one or two little patches high up, but nothing at path level,  If the forecasts are to be believed it won't long until the new season snow starts to fall.

Today's picture is from the top of the Lairig Ghru looking over into Deeside.
