Evening marches across the land

This was an epic day. We rose at 3.30am and were on the road for 4. Passingan endless stream of lorries in spray as they headed up the A2 to avoid Operation Stack at Folkestone on the M20. We were in Edinburgh for 9.15 to see flats. WE finally got home at 10.30pm having dodged Operation Stack again.

The first pic is coming into Gatwick in low sun and long shadows stretching across the fields that are forever England - or at least this little part of Southern England where the Weald meets flatter land.

The second pic is USA Nailz in Edinburgh's Newington. I sat in the car while The Principal delivered documents to her dad's lawyer.

The third is the so-called 'blue moon' - because it is the second full moon of the same month (one day off here) that is supposed to portend upset and good fortune (in equal measure?). This was after we'd arrived home so stone knackered having been on the road for 20 hours.
