...not a phrase that is bandied about too much these days...
A medical day in Huddersfield today. An early start for Roy's appointment at the eye clinic - all good so he has been discharged. By the time we'd finished there it wasn't worth going home before his pre-assessment appointment for hernia op number two - all good there too, and he now has a date for the op.
In between we coped with lunch and a spot of retail therapy - Roy now has some new running shoes, and I found a rather nice blue jacket. 
Harold Wilson's jaunty statue is in a prominent position just outside the railway station ( minus pipe and Gannex raincoat ), and I've had it on my blip list for a while. Wonder what he'd make of the present leadership contest...
