9/11 remembered

I visited Ground Zero today.

Last time I was here in 2002 the Freedom Tower was not there and there was just two large holes in the ground.

The time before that was on 9/8 just 3 days before 9/11

Today the memorial park is a simple but stunning and monumental reminder of that tragic day.

It was sobering to see so many people paying tribute to an event that changed the world.
