It is Friday

This is Norman Helm - a truly amazing bass player.  His expressions as he puts his all into his guitar playing are beyond what I can capture.  It was Harold Salisbury's quartet.  Harold on sax, Tom Vernon on guitar and Andy Smith on drums. 
I sketched Andy first but then I became totally inspired by Norman's playing and the sketch took on his wild expressions.  Later Harold played 2 saxes - at the same time - but then I had run out of paper.  See the extra photos of them both.
