What lies beneath
I've had no luck whatsoever getting decent shots of the top side of ladybirds this summer but I'm quite pleased with this view of one through the window. It was fascinating to watch as it seemed to use it's legs to clean it's body whilst still clinging to the glass. After a couple of minutes it flexed it's wings and flew off.
Obviously the double glazing messes with the image a bit and it's amazing how filthy an apparently clean window looks through a macro lens - but there was no way I was going to spend the rest of my life using the Lightroom spot removal tool to "clean" it up!
